According to Global Warming / Climate Change deniers there is NO GLOBAL WARMING.
They believe Currier & Ives and Norman Rockwell. 4 seasons the world in equilibrium.
That is an illusion. This is by choice. The International Meteorological Organization voted in 1923 approx.to make the last ten years temps the ones to average. Then in 1953 becomes W.M.O.. Who then despite the fact oceans rose 1-2 inches a century for 7000 years and the rate of rising increased to a rate of 4-6 inches a century. And the average global temperature was up 1 deg.F from 1900=1950* chose 1950 as a baseline. Hiding all the warming from industrialization. It's gone up 2 deg F since then.

"The observations have shown us that through the 20th century, sea level rose by an average of two millimeters per year, So that means over the course of the century, we had about 20 centimeters, or roughly eight inches, of sea level rise. The sea level rise we've seen in the first 10 years of the new century is already 50 percent greater than the average sea level rise in the 20th century."
1.5 x 8 that means 12 inches per century = 1.2 so far in this decade = the ave per century until the twentieth. So that means so far since 1900 the ocean has undergone the equivalent of 6 -7 centuries of natural global warming.(interglacial)
When you hear the phrase " x odd degs above or below average" you must know they mean in the last ten years. Because with the temperature trending upward ten years ago can "keep up" so the variation is low. It doesn't seem to be going up much. Further Hiding the Fact in Plain Sight.
But where do you suppose the extra energy to in crease the air speeds to make the oceans choppy?+

The Atmosphere and Ocean Aren't Political they just absorb heat move it and loose it. Movement and heat that we should harness. Think of if it as regenerative braking. We put all this energy in to the system over these last 2 Centuries we might as well get a return on our investment.
We have Burned a million years of forests (coal) and other resources (oil) that the ocean & the atmosphere have plenty of EXTRA energy to last.
Even if we tried to diminish the waves with all the wave machines we could produce.
Even if we tried to diminish the winds with all the wind mills we could produce.
We couldn't put a dent in the available energy.
We're still adding heat to the planet by adding more blankets: co2 ch4 h2o etc.**
Only 100 Square miles of Solar Collectors are needed for ALL of our nations electrical needs.
If we were to use the pavement in every shopping center, parking lot, sidewalk, road, highway, etc. there would be more than enough collector area and it would cool the surrounding areas. Create Cool Islands instead of Heat Islands.
Put heat back in Before snow storms, heat them to 40 deg, the roads stay dry. the snow won't stick. Make electricity in the summer when the sun is the hottest and the electricity is expensive (read: profitable).
